Removal of a mature Mountain Ash in the Alfred Nicholas Gardens during mid 2012.

The tree stood over a spectacular rock water feature and entry area to the Gardens which is managed by Parks Victoria. When the tree died and began shedding its dead limbs, the risk to the public was deemed unacceptable and the tree was scheduled to be removed.

The owners of the Burnham Beeches kindly allowed us to access the tree from their property. The job would’ve been very different without this.

Big thankyou to Mark Calvi at Ace Tree for all the incredible footage, and Jerry Beranek at A Tree Story for photos. We’d have no memories of this job without this.
